Craig Richmond has been at the forefront of innovation in transformative change. He is leading disruptive, system-level initiatives by empowering employees to collaboratively innovate and bring real change to the status quo as MetroHealth transforms the delivery of healthcare in their community. Under his leadership, MetroHealth has seen positive operating results for seven straight years. Mr. Richmond leads the health system’s financial operations, including financial reporting, planning and budgeting, treasury, reimbursement, revenue cycle, and internal audit. In addition, Mr. Richmond is responsible for system services which include supply chain, information technology, enterprise data analytics and business intelligence, and the program management office. In 2010, Mr. Richmond came to MetroHealth following a career of leadership positions at national accounting and consulting firms. During that time, he has led many health care organizations through financial and operational improvement strategies within areas of revenue enhancement, expense reduction, electronic health record optimization, and overall performance transformation.
