Kris Goetz is a leader in Kaufman Hall’s Performance Improvement practice, with nearly 20 years of experience in hospital operations and financial management. He advises healthcare leaders nationwide on strategies aimed at reducing organizational expenses while ensuring optimal performance and patient outcomes. Kris has led numerous organizations through major cost-transformation initiatives. With a particular focus on labor costs, he advises hospitals on the best ways to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, and eliminate redundancies. Prior to Kaufman Hall, Kris held leadership positions at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, including Director of Operations, and Manager of Performance and Innovation. He was accountable for the hospital’s patient care budget and directing improvement portfolios related to patient safety, satisfaction, and hospital throughput. Kris also served as Interim Director of both the Emergency Department and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
