Kenneth I. Levin joined WSP USA, a global engineering and professional services organization, as Senior Counsel in 2017. Previously, he practiced law in the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton LLP. He joined Pepper in 1974 and was a partner for 33 years beginning in 1982. He practiced construction law, representing participants in all segments of the industry on public and private work. Mr. Levin has tried construction cases in federal and state courts and before Boards of Contract Appeals and the Pennsylvania Board of Claims. He also has presented cases in arbitration, mediation and mini-trials. Mr. Levin also has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on its Large and Complex Case panel. He is co-chair of the Construction Trials Subcommittee of the Construction Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association, and former co-chair of its Advocacy and Diversity and Membership Subcommittees. He is past Pennsylvania chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Public Contract Law, and past vice-chair of its State and Local Contract Enforcement Committee. While in private practice, Mr. Levin was rated AV Pre-eminent by Martindale Hubbell ® and was a recommended attorney for Construction Litigation by The Legal 500 United States. He has presented at industry and professional conferences, including the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors, the Associated Builders & Contractors, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the ABA's Forum Committee on the Construction Industry and Construction Litigation Committee, as well as at the Construction Litigation Superconference . He was co-editor of the text Construction Litigation, published by Practising Law Institute, and has authored chapters for many other texts, including Construction Litigation: Representing the Owner, Representing the Contractor and Representing the Design Professional, published by Wiley Law Publications.
