Tom Stitt specializes in strategic financial modeling and reimbursement advisory services for a wide array of clients nationwide covering all segments of the health care continuum. Mr. Stitt has more than 25 years of experience in health care finance and reimbursement. His professional accomplishments and experience include: • Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) finance and health plan management, feasibility studies, benchmark analyses, operational assessments, strategy development, and strategic financial modeling. • Reimbursement advisory services, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross cost reporting and appeals work for acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and long-term acute care hospitals. • Financial feasibility studies for skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals, inpatient psychiatric facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, home health agencies, hospice agencies, and senior housing developments. • Turnaround engagements and financial due diligence for acquisitions involving post-acute facilities and PACE. Tom has prior experience at HDG as VP of finance and reimbursement, Mr. Stitt previously worked for: Ascension Living as national director of finance over PACE; BDO as a manager inthe health care consulting practice; West Suburban Medical Center (280-bed hospital in the Chicago area with multiple provider licenses) as director of reimbursement; and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois as a provider cost report auditor.
