Marshall is co-founder of Upstream, which provides services to monitor water resources via an easy to use dashboard. After gaining a broad set of technical and product experience working at Microsoft, Twitter, Drift (business customer communication), and Wistia (analytics visualizations), Marshall (along with longtime colleague and friend Alden) started Upstream with the broad goal to use technology to help the environment, particularly the underserved water space. Using satellite imagery, environmental datasets, and machine learning, Upstream is now powering decision making at The Nature Conservancy, The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and The Freshwater Trust.
