Miguel Leiro
Designer

Designer and founder of the Errata exhibition project. His work seeks to understand the limits of the design process and its effect on the objects that surround us. This process is defined by context and not necessarily any typology or medium of choice. Content lies in the ‘site-specific’ considerations, resulting in a final design or intent. Emphasis is placed on the breadth of the object as an entity and its ability to act across contexts, from industrial manufacture to artisanal, self produced work. He finds it crucial that every design can suggest and pose questions at a basic level to each person in a different matter. He has a BA in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. He has collaborated and worked with creators such as Jaime Hayon or Moneo Brock. 2017-18 Rome Prize for Design in the Spanish Academy in Rome.
