Elena Brescia, Principal at SCAPE since 2007, has been in practice for over 25 years, dedicated to both public service and the creation of work built simply, but performing complex purposes, with a focus on clear and complete documentation. Ms. Brescia has led the administrative priorities at SCAPE, especially regarding contractual relationships. While SCAPE is known for its waterfront and resiliency work, it also has an extensive affordable and mixed-use housing portfolio, including the Caesura mixed-use building in Downtown Brooklyn’s Cultural District, the Vital Brooklyn initiative, and Portner Flats in Washington, D.C.
