Monadnock Development

Mr. Ciano has worked in the field of real estate development for nearly thirty years, working first as a Registered Architect, then in various administrative capacities with public and not-for-profit housing development entities. Early in his career, Mr. Ciano served in senior management positions with the City of NY overseeing the redevelopment of city day care/head start centers and homeless facilities. Later as a development consultant, Mr. Ciano worked on the rehab and ground up construction of affordable housing projects serving low income, formerly homeless singles, senior, and HIV/AIDs populations in cities across the country. Currently, Mr. Ciano serves as the Vice President for Real Estate Operations at Monadnock Development, where he is responsible for general administration of the company, asset management of its residential portfolio, and project development of affordable residential buildings. He is the Board Chair of West End Residences which develops housing and provides services to the city’s most vulnerable populations including LGBTQ youth, young single mothers, and seniors.
