Tim joined the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) in June of 2017, and is the Vice President of Government and Political Affairs. Tim’s role at NOIA includes coordinating legislative, educational and political activities for the association concerning offshore oil, natural gas and wind energy resource issues as well as managing NOIAPAC. Prior to joining NOIA, Tim was Vice-President of Government and Regulatory Affairs for the National Stripper Well Association (NSWA), where he served as the lead government and regulatory contact directing the government affairs activities for NSWA. Earlier in his career, Tim worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Natural Resources for six and a half years as Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources. The Subcommittee has jurisdiction over all federal energy development onshore and offshore, federal lands energy programs including renewable, traditional and research projects, and mining in the U.S. Included in the Committee portfolio are the agencies of the Department of the Interior, U.S. Forest Service Energy and Mining Programs, as well as the Bureau of Land Management, U. S. Geological Survey and Office of Surface Mining. In 2013, Tim’s Committee role was expanded to include Director of Policy Coordination for the Full Natural Resources Committee where he coordinated the development and action on legislation that crosses Subcommittees.
