Ms. Heather Hohla was appointed as an Associate Vice President with HNTB Corporation in 2014. She has been in the Engineering industry for over 17 years, where she has served in a senior capacity driving project controls and contract management on large and complex Design-Build Projects. Currently, she is an integral part of HNTB's Enterprise Operations Contracting and Claims group where she provides oversite of the project teams' implementation of corporate contracting and change policies, and focusing in areas of financial risk management and proactive change resolution. She supports teams through the alternative dispute resolution processes including DRBs, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Ms. Hohla has been instrumental in her role to support teams through the claims process. She actively consults with project management teams on appropriate project costing according to HNTB policies. She is skilled in calculating damages, compiling issue documentation and financial records for expert witnesses, and assists teams in the preparation of claims and dispute resolution submissions. Ms. Hohla is considered a subject matter expert in her field utilizing her expertise to aid senior executives and internal counsel in developing strategic approaches and arguments in support of a positive result for affirmative and defensive claims. She is a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation where she is certified to act as a DRB member and holds an associate membership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
