Sue is the Director of Risk Management of Adolfson & Peterson (AP), a Minneapolis-based commercial general contractor and construction manager with operations primarily in AZ, CO, MN, and TX. Sue is responsible for influencing and implementing the corporate risk management strategy across the company. She negotiates and procures the corporate insurance program as well as project specific insurance. She develops and negotiates contractual insurance provisions, and oversees all non-litigated claims, while coordinating with General Counsel on management of litigated claims. Sue has over twenty years of experience in risk management and joined AP in 2015 after working as the Director of Risk Management at M. A. Mortenson Company.
