Steve Hofmeister has more than 30 years of experience in the structural design and project management of major structural engineering developments. He participates in the design, design management and construction administration of signature sports projects around the world. His experience includes design-build and design-assist projects. A member of Thornton Tomasetti's board of directors, Steve is a Managing Principal and oversees the Construction Engineering and Structural Engineering practices along with leading the Sports and Public Assembly market sector. Steve is a committee member of the Structural Steel Connections Committee for the American Society of Civil Engineers, a Manuals Committee Member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Kansas & Missouri (SEAKM). Steve founded the Kansas City Chapter of the ACE Mentor program and sits on the national board of directors.
