In her role at Flatiron, Alicia leads the Design Management Group and oversees the design process for the Alternative Delivery Projects across North America throughout the pursuit and post-award stages. Her depth of experience and extensive knowledge in multibillion Transportation DB and Public Private Partnerships (P3) projects from the bid stage to substantial completion has contributed to her expertise in: •Proactive design management •Contract negotiation •Contract management •Risk management •Cost optimization •Design optimizations As a member of the Flatiron Steering Committee for Innovation, Alicia is leading several innovation pilot projects at Flatiron related to the optimization of construction monitoring, schedule optimization and design progress monitoring. Alicia is from Madrid, Spain and has worked on transportation projects in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Administration and Management, and two Masters of Science degrees in Transportation and Public Private Partnerships.
