Winston has nearly 30 years of marketing, public relations and business experience. Prior to co-founding Venga, Winston led the effort, along with President Obama's Director of the United States National Economic Council Jeff Zients, to return Major League Baseball to Washington, DC. His other clients have included General Colin Powell's America's Promise, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Microsoft, and Audi. A native Washingtonian, Winston plays an active role in the community. He's served on the Boards of DC Central Kitchen, Urban Alliance, The Washington Ballet, and EL Haynes Public Charter school. He graduated from Yale University in 1990.
