Josep M. Jornet is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in 2013. He is a member of the IEEE, ACM and the SPIE. His current research interests are in Terahertz-band communication networks, Nano-photonic wireless communication, and the Internet of Nano-Things. In these areas, he has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications (48 journals, 59 conferences), 1 book, and has also been granted 3 US patents. His work has been cited more than 4200 times (h-index of 29, according to Google Scholar on May 2018).
