Barry Matsumori

BridgeSat, Inc.


Barry was appointed CEO of BridgeSat in 2017 and brings over 30 years of experience in telecom and space technology as well as broad business insight. BridgeSat is supporting the space industry with optical communication solutions providing high speed links and alternative solutions that complement RF networks. Prior to BridgeSat, Barry has held executive positions at Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, and Qualcomm in technical and business roles. He has also worked in early stage companies including an IPO in 1999. He holds a BS in business from Arizona State University and an MS in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.
