Mr. Shadeed has worked in the systems engineering and information technology fields for over 33 years, amassing engineering and leadership experience throughout his career in private industry and as Department of Navy civilian engineer. He currently serves as a member of the SPAWAR Office of the Chief Engineer Systems of Systems Capability Engineering team. His primary role is the DoD CIO Mission Partner Environment – Information Systems (MPE-IS) Chief Engineer. In this capacity, he reports directly to the Director of Architecture and Engineering (A&E) within the office of the DoD CIO. The A&E directorate is responsible for the development of an enterprise-wide MPE-IS architecture and oversight of MPE-IS initiatives to migrate the existing information system from a regional and physical to a global and virtual set of capabilities which span the Secret, Secret/Releasable and Unclassified information domains.
