David Cackovic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has 37 years of experience in engineering management, standards development and management, and railroad component research and testing. David recently completed a term as President of the Mechanical Association of Railcar Technical Services, and has served as Chairman of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Rail Transportation Division. After 37+ years he retired on December 9, 2022 from the Association of American Railroad’s (AAR) and its subsidiaries TTCI and MxV Rail.
