Chris Celano serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for IHI E&C International Corporation in Houston, Texas. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for establishing strategic direction, managing the company’s project portfolio and overseeing all aspects of operations for the company. Since joining IHI E&C, Mr. Celano has held numerous leadership positions across the company. He actively serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for IHI E&C. Mr. Celano previously served as Senior Vice President of Business Administration and General Counsel for IHI E&C with responsibility for supervising all legal and administrative functions including human resources, IT, facilities and administrative services. During this time, Mr. Celano played an integral role in creating company and leadership infrastructure to enable the organization to develop its workforce and grow its revenue. Before joining IHI E&C, Mr. Celano operated as the Vice President and General Counsel for a publicly-traded, international offshore drilling contractor. Mr. Celano has also worked as an associate for multiple New York City law firms, Ellenoff Grossman & Schole, Olshan Grundman Frome and Graham & James. Mr. Celano is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee, having earned a bachelor’s degree in economics, as well as earning his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts. Furthering his education, Mr. Celano earned his Master of Law in taxation from New York University School of Law in New York, New York and then earned his master’s in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
