Kathy leads the Innovation and Commercialization Team for Johns Manville’s Insulation Division. Her group has technical responsibility for developing and maintaining all of JM’s building insulation products including spray foam, Polyiso foam sheathing, fiberglass, and blowing wool. Kathy has been with JM for 8 years where she has had positions in product management and product engineering. Previously, Kathy worked as an Engineering Manager and Lead Propellant Engineer for the Space Shuttle Redesigned Solid Rocket Motor Program at Thiokol in Utah. She has numerous publications, awards, and patents. She has a B.Sc. in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines where she played basketball and volleyball. She has 3 mostly grown children and resides in Littleton, CO with her husband. Kathy is also the current chair of the Spray Foam Coalition and works closely with the leadership committee and membership to advance the use of spray foam in North America.
