Adrienne Johnston has served as Chief of the Bureau of Labor Market Statistics (a part of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity) since April of 2015. Before joining DEO, Ms. Johnston served as Manager for Evergreen Solutions where she analyzed local labor markets and developed custom compensation and benefits plans for community colleges and local government organizations. Prior to holding that position, she served as Labor Market Research Director for Brandt Information Services where she expanded the service portfolio of the unit beyond data collection to include data visualization tools, survey design, and analysis. Additionally, her experience includes compensation analysis, agile project management and econometric analysis of employment data, managing job vacancy and labor turnover surveys, and local labor market analysis for workforce boards. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University.
