Sharron Lee Crocker

Sharron Lee Crocker is a fine art photographer working in multiple genres. Sharron’s work has been exhibited in a number of galleries in New York City and elsewhere, including the Salmagundi Club, the National Arts Club, and the Atlantic Gallery in Chelsea, to name a few. Sharron has also taught beginner digital photography through the Appalachian Mountain Club, has written educational pieces for the Manhattan Miniature Camera Club, and has lectured on bird photography. Rather than making documentary images of her surroundings, she prefers to create a more painterly look, either by camera movement, slow shutter speeds for moving subjects, or creative post-processing. A number of Sharron’s nature images from the Hudson Valley can be seen in a music video created by Jana Herzen and Charnett Moffett for their meditative piece “Overtones”. You can find it on the home page of her website at UntamedNewYork.com. Her images also can be found on Instagram: @SharronShoots and @untamednewyork.
