Kholood Eid




Kholood Eid is a freelance photojournalist based in New York City. Her work focuses on exploring the relationship between individual and group identity, the concept of "home," the ever-shifting social and political makeup of the Middle East, gender-based issues, mental illness and the unseen aftermath of trauma. In addition to contributing to publications such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Reuters, Kholood teaches and mentors teens at the Bronx Documentary Center. Kholood has had a solo exhibition at the University of Delaware, is an alumna of the Eddie Adams Workshop, and received a master’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri in 2015. She was selected for PDN’s 30 in 2018.
