A Colorado native, Megan Lane is a recycling program manager for the City and County of Denver and a consultant for Kessler Consulting Inc. (KCI), a solid waste management consulting firm. Since she joined the KCI team in September 2015, Megan has worked on a variety of projects including Zero Waste master plans, a review of innovative MSW technologies and a legislative review of sustainable solid waste policies. Megan specializes in sustainable programs and venues. She also serves as Board president for Recycle Colorado. Previously at the University of Denver, Megan established and managed the first collegiate Zero Waste program in the country. Prior to working at KCI, Megan was the sustainability coordinator for Denver Arts & Venues, managing energy, water and waste management for Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Denver Coliseum and the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Megan has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver, along with a Master’s degree in public policy and sociology.
