Colonel Matthew J. Foulk serves as the Commander, 35th Signal Brigade. He was commissioned in 1995 and entered active duty in January of 1996. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from The Citadel and Master of Science Degrees from the Air Command and Staff College and the United States Army War College. COL Foulk has served in a variety of positions. His assignments include: Executive Officer, later Platoon Leader for A Company, 10th Signal Battalion, 10th Mountain Division; Battalion S6, 2nd Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, which deployed to Bosnia in support of Operation Joint Forge; Commander, 293rd Signal Company, 1st Signal Brigade, Camp Carroll, Korea; Brigade S6, 4th Brigade, 87th Division (TS), Fort Stewart, GA; Joint Communications Officer for the Joint Combat Identification and Evaluation Team, Eglin AFB, FL; Intel Systems Integrator for Combined Joint Task Force-82, Bagram, Afghanistan; Brigade S6, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC, which deployed to Haiti in support of Operation Unified Response; Deputy G6, 82nd Airborne Division which deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; Chief of Operations, G3, 5th Signal Command (Theater); Director, Commander’s Initiative Group to the Commander of 5th Signal Command (Theater);G6, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and J6 for both Operation United Assistance (Liberia) and Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq); and the Director, Office Chief of Signal. COL Foulk is a graduate of the United States Army War College, Air Command and Staff College, Signal Officer Basic and Advance Courses, Combined Arms Service and Staff School.
