As Principal Computer Scientist with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Mark Barnell has more than 31 years of experience in computer engineering and advanced computing. He currently is the high-performance computing director and Agile High Performance Systems (AHPS) program manager for AFRL’s Information Directorate Computing and Communication Division. His area of focus includes high performance computers, embedded computing, persistent wide area surveillance, distributed and next generation architectures.
