Eddie Buchanan served as assistant chief in Hanover (VA) Fire-EMS with 40 years of service. He is a past president of the ISFSI and serves on the executive advisory board for Fire Engineering Magazine and FDIC. He is the 2015 recipient of the George D. Post Instructor of the Year Award. He has a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and an associate degree in fire science.
