Hock Chiang is the Senior Vice President of Cohu, Inc., responsible for the Asia Customer Group. He joined Cohu in 2012 and was managing the Global Sales and Service team until their acquisition of Xcerra in October 2018. In his current position, Hock is responsible for sales, customer support and new business development in Asia. Prior to joining Cohu, Inc., Hock held several management positions during his 22 years in Teradyne which included General Manager of South Asia region and China, Director of New Business Development, Director of TQM program for Global Field Operations and several Applications Engineering management positions in Asia and US. Prior to Teradyne, he was an IC Designer at Bell Labs and held the rank of Lieutenant during his 6 years in the Singapore Navy. Hock has a BSEE from University of Texas at Austin and an MBA graduating as a Sloan Fellow from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He had also served as an advisor to the SEMI Board in China and held several board of director positions in semiconductor startup companies in China and Taiwan.
