David is president of Paramount Citrus, the largest integrated grower and packer of citrus in California. Paramount owns and farms approximately 42,000 acres in various locations throughout California and Mexico. A third generation farmer, David has lived in the Central Valley all of his life, and has been active in the citrus industry most of his adult life. He served as a Director of Sunkist Growers, Inc from 1996 until 2006, and was its Chairman in 2005 and 2006. He is a director on the United Fresh Board and its chairman elect. He currently is a Trustee on the Board of Children’s Hospital Central California, located in Madera and serving the entire Central Valley of California with first quality care for children. Being a believer in the Ag Industry and the need for future leadership, he also serves as a Director of California Agricultural Leadership Foundation. David has an AS Degree in Plant Science from Reedley College.
