Dianne Mackey is the Regional WOC Nurse Practice Leader for Kaiser Permanente Care at Home in Southern California and Hawaii. She is responsible for the delivery and management of projects in areas of key organizational importance with a focus on delivering evidence-based high-quality protocols and initiatives focused on the wound, ostomy and continence patient. Her role as the National Chair of the Wound Sourcing and Standardization Team within Kaiser for the past 20 years has been instrumental in collaborating with national supply chain directors, physician champions, nurse executives and others to achieve local, regional, and national financial and clinical home care goals. She is a co- author of the WOCN Society’s Support Surface Algorithm and the Interventions Post-Catheter Removal Algorithm. She has co-authored several book chapters addressing support surfaces including the 2021 Wound Management Core Curriculum Book. Her love of education is evident as she is the Administrator and Course Coordinator for the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Care at Home Wound Treatment Associate Program.
