Christine Baker has worked as a nurse for more than 40 years and has been a Clinical Nurse Specialist and certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence nurse for the past 20 years. After practicing as an adult WOCN in both the home care and inpatient settings, she transitioned to work with the Section of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital and has been with them for seven years. Her practice encompasses Pediatric General Surgery patients and includes children with wound and ostomy needs, enteral feeding tubes and central lines, treated in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
