Donald F. Blair is internationally renowned for his innovations in tree care safety, equipment and practical skills. For decades, Blair has been a featured presenter at arborist conferences throughout the world. Blair has written extensively on many topics related to arboriculture including the reference book: Arborist Equipment (1995). Founder of Blair’s Arborist Equipment, LLC. (1975) and the M. F. Blair Institute of Arboriculture (1984). In 2018 Don was awarded the singular honor of being invited to address the German Arborists Association in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of arborist skills dating back to his first visit 25 years earlier in 1993. Blair currently lives in Hagerstown, Maryland with the true love of his life Laurie and their two dogs, Duncan and Dolly.
