Michael Greenberg is an Environmental Planner with 39 years of experience with environmental issues. Michael is President of GT Environmental, Inc. (GT) an environmental consulting firm focused on air, water, brownfields and solid waste management. Michael has recently focused on solid waste management, waste diversion and zero waste planning. Michael began his career as an environmental scientist with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in 1981. He managed the first solid waste planning group creating Ohio’s first solid waste management plan. Michael graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters in City and Regional Planning. Michael is currently the International President for the Solid Waste Association of North America a 11,000-member trade association. He is term is from July 2019 to June 30, 2020.
