John Eggers has been in wind energy for 12 year and prides himself as a Techno-Commercial value creator and global warming warrior. The group he leads at Vestas works at the intersection of product and commercial value by optimizing product design/configuration. In this role, John has been responsible for over 10GW of FOI and 260M USD of bottom-line value add for Vestas’ customers. He has also lead the introduction of 8 new wind turbine variants to the North American market. John’s previous role at Vestas was head of Technology for North America where he lead the support of over 16GW of new turbine installations and engineering support for the Vestas fleet in North, Central, and South America. John has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
