Mr. Hermosilla is a member of the Senior Executive Service and is the Executive Director for U.S. Fleet Cyber Command / U.S. TENTH Fleet. Mr. Hermosilla entered federal government service in June 1992. He received a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University. He is a graduate of the DoD Senior Acquisition Course and has earned DAWIA Level III Acquisition certifications in both Information Technology and Program Management. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Hermosilla served as the Director of Operations for the Joint Service Provider (JSP) at the Pentagon. As Director of Operations, Mr. Hermosilla provided executive oversight for several Secretary and Department of Defense (DoD) CIO headquarters initiatives including Pentagon Integrated Processing node planning and execution, Pentagon WiFi, and the DEPSECDEF IT Consolidation 4th Estate Onboarding efforts. Mr. Hermosilla’s operations portfolio included 24x7 operations, residential support for VIPs and customer service for 40,000 customers including the principals and staff of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and its Primary Staff Assistant offices, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as other organizations and dignitaries who accessed IT resources within the Pentagon and the National Capital Region. Mr. Hermosilla recently delivered the first ever fully accredited 1700+ node Wi-Fi network in the Pentagon to support both government tenants and visitors.
