Early is the Operations Training Coordinator at Pattern Energy where he administers, facilitates, develops, and deliver training programs for new and existing Operations employees. He is the past chairman for AWEA’s Wind Technician Training & Education Working Group. Prior to entering the wind industry, he completed a twenty-year career in the US Navy where he served aboard four submarines and three training commands. He started in wind in 2009 as a wind technician at Clipper Windpower, where he would eventually become a technical trainer and trained over 50 wind technicians to troubleshoot turbine anomalies and spearheaded improvements to training programs, work processes and procedures. He went on to become the Organization Capabilities Manager for BP Wind Energy where he developed and managed a comprehensive training and onboarding program. He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
