Dr. Soltys has spent his professional career both in the academic and clinical settings. In 2014, he was appointed as the Executive Director of the Chiropractic Branch of the McKenzie Institute International. Prior to this, he served as the Dean of Postprofessional, Graduate and Continuing Education at the National University of Heath Sciences in Illinois (2003 to 2013). In that time, he developed numerous continuing education programs and master’s degree courses for chiropractors and other health care providers of which thousands attended each year. He began teaching clinical orthopedics and manipulation courses in addition to medical-legal specialty lectures at NUHS in 1994. He holds the rank of Associate Professor with twenty years of teaching experience. He received ten awards for teaching excellence. Concurrently, for eighteen years, he practiced as a chiropractor in Illinois in clinics with multiple medical specialties. In that time, he gained invaluable experience collaborating with specialists in working with patients suffering with acute and chronic pain. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo Ontario, his chiropractic degree at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri and his post-professional Master of Science degree in Advanced Clinical Practice at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. The focus of the Master’s degree was the prevention and management of pain and chronic disease processes. In addition, he’s completed over three thousand hours of continuing education training. In 2014, he became credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy through the McKenzie Institute.
