Kari Gonzales, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Transportation Technology Center, Inc. Previously, Ms. Gonzales held the positions of Director of Software Services and Internal Research & Development and the Equipment Engineering Committee Manager at TTCI. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is currently more than halfway through an MBA. Kari has over 12 years of experience in the railway industry ranging from modeling of railway vehicle dynamics, finite element analysis, experiment design and testing, nondestructive testing and evaluation methods, wayside inspection systems, and casting research. Ms. Gonzales spent a year working for the BNSF Railway on their Condition Based Maintenance team as part of a newly formed program to expand railroad operations experience at TTCI. She was also selected as one of Progressive Railroading’s “Rising Stars” in 2014.
