Lia Nightingale, PhD

Lia M. Nightingale earned her Ph.D. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in 2006. Dr. Nightingale is an Associate Professor in Life Sciences and Foundations at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where she teaches Biochemistry, Nutrition, and Clinical Nutrition. She has been awarded Outstanding Faculty of the Year, First Trimester Faculty of the Year and the Thelma Fordyce-Mack Award five times for innovation in teaching. Dr. Nightingale has published in numerous journals and presented at many professional conferences. She lives on a farm with her husband and 3 active children.
