Rebecca Evertsz is a Staff Accountant for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) in the Department of Defense (DoD). She is the lead for DoD’s General Property, Plant and Equipment, and Lease accounting policies. She was instrumental in the formulation of FASAB’s Implementation Guidance for Leases and amendments to the SFFAS 54, Leases. She has over 13 years of experience in Auditing, Contracting and Accounting within DoD and the Department of Transportation. She is a Certified Public Accountant, has a Bachelor degree in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Information Systems Management.
