Joan Vincenz is the Managing Director of United Airlines’ Workers’ Compensation and Managed Care department. She has oversight of United Airlines’ enterprise Workers’ Compensation programs ensuring injured employees receive appropriate care and benefits which enable them to return to good health and to work. Joan previously worked at Delta airlines as the Director of Inflight Service and Managing Director in Strategic Planning and Marketing. Joan obtained her B.A. in Communications from Wheaton College, and her MBA from Goizueta at Emory University. She recently received her Associate in Risk Management, and serves on the Board of Managers for the California Self-Insurers Association. Joan currently resides in California with her husband. Joan has previously presented at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Forum, the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions Annual Conference, and will be speaking at the National Council of Self Insurers Annual Conference this year.
