Leafy is the Manager, Environmental Affairs of Shanghai Disney Resort. She is responsible for environmental compliance of Shanghai Disney Resort, and showcasing best management practices on waste elimination and recycling, water conservation and emission reduction, to demonstrate Shanghai Disney Resort’s commitment to protecting the environment and to raise awareness of the importance of promoting conservation and sustainable development. Leafy has more than 10 years’ experience on Environmental, Health and Safety. She joined Disney in 2012 on Project Development team to focus on project environmental impacting assessment requirement, and Disney’s environmental standards implementation through design review and construction environmental management.  In 2015, Leafy transitioned to Operation team to continuously lead proactive efforts working with local officials in ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to environmental protection final approval, related licensing and permitting, environmental protection tax declaration, daily monitoring, hazardous waste management, and emergency response. Leafy also drives Environmental Culture Change efforts for the resort, introducing and promoting Disney’s Environmentality™ awareness and conscience for cast members and guests, as well as the delivery of Disney’s environmental targets (waste, water, emission, etc.). Leafy holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering Environmental Science and a Master degree in Engineering Environmental Science, both from Shanghai Tongji University.
