Daniel Delcourt is Chief Operating Officer at Disneyland Paris since July 2014. He is a member of the Steering Committee. At the head of more than 13,000 Cast Members, Daniel develops and implements the operational strategy for the destination with one objective in mind: to deliver excellent service and high-quality guest experience. Daniel supervises a wide range of business activities: from the management of the 7 hotels with their 5,800 rooms, to the operation of the 59 attractions, maintenance and horticulture. Daniel has been working in the hospitality and tourism sector for over 30 years. Equipped with several experiences in hotel management in France and abroad, he started at Disneyland Paris in April 1996 as Head of the restaurants at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge. He was quickly promoted to Senior Manager Operations at Disney Village (1997-1999), before heading Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch (1999), the Golf Disneyland (1999-2000) and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge (2000-2002). From 2002 to 2007, he diversified his expertise as Head of the Entertainment Department where he launched several shows, including in the context of the 15th anniversary of the destination. He was also active in the organisation of the opening of The Walt Disney Studios Park in 2002. From 2007 to 2012, he was Vice President Hotels and Business Solutions, the entity dedicated to event organisation at Disneyland Paris. Five years later, he crossed the Atlantic to be named Vice President Hotels and Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort Anaheim in California. Daniel has a Master’s degree in management in the Food and Beverages branch from the École Hôtelière de Namur in Belgium. He is married and has one child.
