Bertrand Delgrange, is the grandson of one the 1st French theme park's fonder (Bagatelle 1954, Touquet) and therefore has always been surrounded and fascinated by the leisure/entertainment world. He first revealed his entrepreneur taste after a trip to the USA, by creating the first indoor climbing venue: What’s up in Lille (still opened, run, owned by his first employee) and win 2 innovation prizes for it. In 2004, Bertrand takes upon a new challenge with very innovative ideas for the urban leisure offers, way before the first escape rooms, trampoline parks, VR equipment … His special project is launched in 2006, in Lille, Koezio (Inquest at the beginning): a 5000 sq meters indoor adventure park with strong human values in the games and for its employees. The whole point of the venue is to create heartwarming places for people to enjoy time together, communicate and play. The concept seems to seduce since 5 parks are now open in France and Belgium (Lille, Paris’south, Paris’ north, Lyon and Brussels), each venue hosting 130 000 visitors every year during their free time, for private events (birthday parties, bachelor parties …), corporate events (teambuilding, meetings, incentives…) … The group still works on developing new adventures and leisure offers to follow/create the trend and keep on giving new opportunities to enhance bonds through play.
