After spending years in the restaurant industry and seeing the gap in the food chain for locally sourced products, Andrew launched Vertical Roots with co-founder, Matt Daniels. They quickly saw the efficiencies of growing in an indoor, controlled environment, which led to them joining forces with Tiger Corner Farms, a farm manufacturing company that builds hydroponic farms within refurbished shipping containers. Andrew now leads a team of 85 (and growing) to supply healthy, safe, and fresh leafy greens to grocery stores, restaurants, and institutions across the Southeast with plans to expand to the Northeast and beyond.
