John Gurrisi is Director of Food Safety & Produce Quality for Fresh Express Incorporated, a leading manufacturer and innovator of value-added fresh produce products. John has broad food safety responsibility for growing, manufacturing, new product assessment, customer collaboration and regulatory compliance. He leads a multi-disciplinary food safety team covering the US, Canada and Mexico and directs a multi-million dollar implementation and investment budget. John holds multiple industry-critical food safety certifications and has contributed his technical expertise to wide-ranging industry initiatives. Prior to Fresh Express, John led global fresh produce food safety and quality initiatives for Darden Restaurants.
