Michael is a senior Hydrotechnical Engineer with 19 years’ experience in hydropower, water resources, and hydraulic structures. He has led numerous flood studies and dam safety reviews for sites throughout Atlantic Canada, and has been the project manager and technical lead for several hydraulic studies for the proposed 3,074 MW Lower Churchill Hydroelectric Project in Labrador. Other work has included hydroelectric feasibility analyses and dam rehabilitation projects for Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, New Brunswick Power and Nova Scotia Power and flood risk mapping studies.
