Dr Monomoy Goswami holds PhD & Masters in Eng. Hydrology from National University of Ireland Galway in Ireland and BE in Civil Eng. from National Institute of Technology Silchar in India. Currently he is Professor of Civil Eng. at Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar India. For 25 out of 31 years of career till date, he served hydropower industry, working for various stages of development of a large number of projects: 3 in Uganda, 3 in Nepal, 1 each in Kenya & Nigeria and more than 30 in 13 states of India. He also developed procedures of flood hydrograph estimation for application in Ireland using hydrograph width analysis, and contributed to 2 hydrological projects in Tanzania.
