Post-bachelors Research Associate

Rebecca is a Post-Bachelor’s Research Associate working in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Environmental Sciences Division. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. A love of learning and the outdoors led her to search out a career in renewable energies. Since joining the ORNL Water Power Technologies team, she has gained experience in cost-benefit analyses, minimum flow scheduling, computational fluid dynamic modeling, and dissolved oxygen modeling. She has been instrumental in developing an internal search tool used by multiple projects as well as several interactive data visualization tools all using Python's bokeh package.
