Alex DiNovo is President & COO of DNO Produce, a rapidly growing family-owned business located in Columbus, Ohio.  DNO is a fresh fruit and vegetable processor, as well as a distributor, with a distribution network throughout the Midwest and Great Lakes states.  DNO Produce specializes in fresh cut processing for school foodservice – specifically under the FresHealth Kids label, which is comprised of mostly single serve, ready-to-eat fresh fruits and vegetables.  DNO sells schools directly and indirectly through their distributor network both commercially and through federally subsidized programs such as DOD Fresh, FFVP, and Farm to School.  Alex is a fourth generation family member who has been involved in the produce business from a young age, and has knowledge and experience in many areas of the produce supply chain.  He is also a Trustee on the United Fresh Start Foundation Board, is a graduate of the United Fresh Leadership Program, and is a frequent guest author for industry trade publications.
